1: Chennai
Arrive
Chennai international airport. Assistance
on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon
sightseeing tour of chennai, the capital
city of Tamilnadu. Chennai is otherwise
regarded as the 'Gateway to the South' represents
a culture that is distinctly different from
that of northern India. Sight seeing around
can include visit to Kabaleeswarar Temple,
Santhome Cathedral, Sree Parthasarathy Temple,
Marina Beach, quarium,Govt. Museum, Fort
Museum, National Art Gallery, St.Thomas
Mount, Fort St. George and St. Mary's Church,
Little Mount Shrine, Guindy Deer and Snake
Park,Valluvar Kottam,Kalakshetra, Sittararingam,
Zoological Park etc...

Day
2: Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram
Morning
drive to Kanchipuram, 70 kms west of Mahabalipuram,
this city of thousand temples lies. One
of the seven sacred cities of Hindus, it
was the capital of the early Cholas as far
back as the 2nd century BC. Kanchi was a
major seat of Tamil learning as well as
an important place of pilgrimage for Buddhists,
Jains and Hindus. Sight seeing around Kanchipuram
can include visit to Kailasanatha Temple,
Ekambaranatha Temple, Vaikundaperumal Temple,
Kamakshiamman Temple, Varadarajaswami Temple
etc..
Later
proceed for Mamallapuram ( Mahabalipuram-64km
) Reach and check-in to your pre assigned
resort. Places to interest will include
Krishnamandapam, Rathas, Shore Temple, Mandapams,
Arjunas, Crocodile farm, Covelong, Thirukkaazhukundram
etc...Over night at the Resort.

Day
3: Pondicherry - Tanjore(172km)
After
Early Breakfast check-out your hotel and
departure for Tanjore. Enroute visiting
Pondicherry. Pondicherry - The French influence
teritory is gradually fading, but retains
a few Gallic accents. Interesting sights
will include the Rai Nivas, the Sacred Heart
Church and the Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Later
Proceed for Tanjore. Sight seeing around
Tanjore will include - Sri Brahadeeswara
Temple, Palace,Art Gallerry, Saraswathy
Mahal Library, Schwartz Church etc... Over
night at Tanjore.

Day
4: Tanjore - Trichy(55km)
Morning
sightseeing tour of Tanjore. This place
is the home of Carnatic music, musical instruments,
dance and traditional handicrafts, Tanjore
(Thanjavur) is famous for the Brahadeeswarar
Temple. The was constructed by the Chola
King Raja Rajan more than a thousand years
ago is an architect's marvel. Later proceed
for Trichirapally ( Trichy ). Reach and
Check-in to your Pre-booken Hotel. Evening
is optional to visit the Trichy- Sri Ramgam,
Tiruvanaikkaval etc.. Return to the Hotel
for Over night stay.

Day
5: Trichy - Madurai(129km)
Morning
visit Rock Fort Temple. The Rock Fort is
situated on the banks of the River Kaveri
, Trichy's most famed land mark is an 84
m high rock, one of the oldest in the world
aprox.3,800 million years.
Later
check-out your hotel and drive to Madurai.
Reach and over night at the Hotel in Madurai.

6: Madurai - Chennai(447km)
Morning
sight seeing tour of Madurai . Madurai is
the second largest city on the banks of
the River Vigai. The city believed to be
more than 2500 yeras old. Madurai where
the people wake up at the chant of

'The Meenakshi-Sundareswara Temple. Other
sight seeing will include visit to Thirumalai

Day 7:
Madurai - Chennai
Transfer
to the airport / Railway station for flight
to Madras.
